The Scottish Highlands are renowned for their wild beauty , nowhere more apparent than in Dornoch with its glowing medieval town centre of local golden sandstone. For hills, glens, lochs and heather clad moors, the Dornoch area has them all situated as it is in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. It just has that little bit more, miles of golden beaches to add into the mix. It’s the perfect location to explore, allowing us to include, a cruise on Loch Ness, lunch on the Isle of Skye, a visit to the Castle of Mey, along with two scenic rail journeys to augment your experience.
